Well already ready to head off to Miranda’s to go to the airport. I got my hair done last night and it looks cool. She covered the grey and added apricot streaks, and she put 2 bright purple hair extensions in. It looks cool. I went this morning and got a crappy manicure and my toenails painted, and just finishing up some stuff now. My hairdresser Veronica (she was my moms friend) just got back from Vegas and had an awesome time. I went to her house and she showed me this reall nice home theater sconces that she bought there. I’m going to look for them. She told me where to get them. They would look very nice in my living room!

So diet talk. What is the plan? I have no friggin idea. My visit with the psychotherapist was good. Bascially her focus for me was trying to accept the size I am, while focusing on eating healthy, and bascially being aware I guess. She also wanted me to journal and read Dr. Phil’s book. I haven’t really put anything into action yet.

I have really just been eating to my heart’s content and feeling all clothes getting small. Even walking Gunther, I cannot believe how out of shape I feel. I don’t know what the plan is. Do I start WW, start diet pills, go back to the therapist (I liked her). I kinda have accepted my weight gain and have not been thinking of dieting for weeks now, and gained weight. No clue how much. Haven’t weighed myself.

One week of vacation to hopefully clear my head a little, (although I do have a feel good sexy dress to wear out at night) and feel ready to put my plan, whatever it is…in action.

Hello everyone! It’s been such a long time since I posted a good entry, and you will have to wait even longer! lol Just Kidding. Today is my last day at work! Yay! Well just for a week. I’m on vacation next week, and we’re heading to Vegas! I can’t believe we’re finally going! I plan came together. We had hoped to go in 2007 since we all turned 30 that year, but we couldn’t plan anything since my mom was sick. Noone knew what he fate was. So we are celebrating our 30th year in our 31st!

I met Miranda and Laurie in grade 9. Almost 17 years ago! Wow. We’ve been pretty close since then. We all hung around together with other people, and now we are the only three from “our group” who still do. So it should be a fun vacation with great friends!

We searched through many vacation deals, and narrowed it down to Vegas. I went about 10 years ago with my parents but I am looking forward to doing things you do with your friends.

My dad lent me his suitcase and last night I emptied it out. (He transported some stuff to me during his move). My mom was a really good knitter. About 2 years before she died, she got a crochet pattern for baby blankets. She made a bunch for gifts for my friends, my brothers friends, etc. They are beautiful. Well she made my brother and I one before she died. It is sad knowing she knew she wouldn’t be here to give them to us. Anyway, it was in my suitcase for me. It’s yellow, and has fringe and ribbon and is so soft. I was thinking I should post a picture of it. My mom was the best. I miss her so much.

Okay, well I should get some work done. Only 7 more hours in the work day! ha ha!

It’s only been about 6 days since I wrote last, but it feels like a month! I guess there has not been much to write. I do want to post a “diet” entry as I went to the psychotherapist, but I just haven’t felt like it. I haven’t put much into place yet from what she said, but I guess that will come soon. I put some clothes on last night that I wore a year ago. Yep, took them off. Amazing how things just get so tight. I went to a wedding last night. My friend Sandra. It was lovely! Marc and I had a great time. She didn’t cut a single corner. It was  the best wedding meal I have ever had and the decor was amazing! I felt good in my dress and really it was the first time I had seen Marc in a suit, so it was kinda special for us! In fact, we will be dating a year in just a few days! I was thinking about getting her a wine of the month gift, but in the end I went with money. It is so much easier and I knew she would love it! She is going on her honeymoon today and guess what girls? She doesn’t even know where she is going. Her husband has had it planned and booked for a year now. Knowing him, I’m sure it will be somewhere extravagant! How romantic, huh?

So that’s all for now. I am leaving to take my aunt shopping all around the city. She is so slow and I’m sure I will be gone for about 5-6 hours. Have a good Sunday everyone!

So we are finally going to spend the money for laminate flooring. It’s not as cheap as I thought it was going to be, and we’re paying someone to install as well. I’m pretty excited, but nervous. I hope I like it. The carpet is pretty gross now thanks to Mr. Gunther, so hopefully this will give a nice facelift. Awhile ago, I was getting mortgage quotes for moving, but it is not a good time for us now. Marc also keeps telling me that the floor will be good for resale, so he better be right! We were not planning on doing the kitchen, but just decided to. I mean, you’re spending the money, what’s another $600 right? It will be done the 3rd weekend in July. I can’t wait!
